Ed Sheeran and Weezer Join Coachella 2025 Lineup, Following Release Of Sheeran’s New Single

Weezer and Ed Sheeran have joined the lineup for the 2025 Coachella festival in Indio, California. Weezer is scheduled to perform during Weekend One of the festival, while Ed Sheeran is set to appear during Weekend Two. The festival will feature headlining sets by Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Green Day, but there have been recent cancellations from the lineup. FKA Twigs pulled out of Coachella due to ongoing visa issues that caused her to cancel her entire US tour, after she didn’t file the proper paperwork in time. Anitta also dropped off the lineup due to unexpected personal reasons. No additional replacement artists have been announced as of yet. Weezer is marking the 30th anniversary of their iconic Blue Album with a variety of festival performances this spring and summer. Sheeran just released “Azizam,” the lead single from his upcoming album, Play. Sheeran also shared a Liam Pethick-directed music video for the track, which features footage of his recent surprise appearances throughout the US in New Orleans, Nashville, and Boston. He’ll be promoting Play with an upcoming European tour. (Rolling Stone)
