Taste of Belgium was our feature for the week of 11/30 on the Beers of Christmas! Featuring the beers, Tripel Karmeliet and Kwak.
Tripel Karmeliet:
- very refined and complex golden-to-bronze brew with a fantastic creamy head.
- Characteristics derive not only from the grains used but also from restrained hopping with Styrians and the fruity nature of the house yeast.
- Aroma has hints of vanilla and citrus.
- Tripel Karmeliet has not only the lightness and freshness of wheat, but also the creaminess of oats together with a spicy lemony zest.
ABV: 8.4%
Kwak:
- Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale.
- Amber in color with beautiful thick foam
- slightly sweet, with seductive malt and bitter hops character.
- A rich and satisfying Belgian experience.
